Ozaki iCoat-Slim-Y+ IPAD case <3

From the nation that is pioneer in smart-ass inventiveness while KISS (keeping it simple, st*p*d!) and the art of origami … comes this! Check out their website! This IPAD case line comes in the most gorgeous designs! The designs are inspired by famous cities in the world! Paris, Rome and Tokyo are my favorites!

Thanks to my grade school pal, Grace for sharing this! :)

I let out a girly shriek at the counter when I saw this. I have been reading majority of my good reads from my Ipad that the mere sight of printed comic material gave me tingles! :)

You see, before I collected Sailor-moon cards (Don’t judge!) and NBA cards (Don’t ask!), me and Karla collected a sea of Archie comics! If we are to sell our (already) vintage collection, it would be gold! But we won’t, for sure! :) Our Archie comics collection is too precious, too reminiscent of our fun childhood! :)

The Best of Archie Comics Book 2 is coming out this September! Eep! I don’t even have Book 1 yet! Shame! I will get my hands on both compilation! I wouldn’t want to miss re-reading the best comic stories from the past 70 years! :)

P.S. I have always been a Veronica (fan) but hey, in Atlanta, I realized I am a Betty too! *wink*

Coke’s HAPPINESS WALL

The simplest question greets you this week in the office. We are all encouraged to participate because the simple act of adding your thoughts to the wall will inspire others to remember personal moments of optimism and happiness. An e-book will be shared internally to help tell the story of what makes people happy in The Coca-Cola Company.

Yes, of course I made sure to put my answer there! ;)

Times like today where the day was just flooded with stressors, I have to always remember WHO and WHAT makes me happy. I will not allow BV to be an illegal settler in me. They will not settle unless I allow them to be. And I won’t. :)

Coke CUTOVER Weekend: RAH-RAH-RAH! Let’s do this, Global Juice Deployment project! :-)

My favorite show in Food Network "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" featured this mobile-restaurant, “Fresh | Local | Wild”, a restaurant trailer you can find a block away from the Fisherman’s Wharf in Burrard St and W Hastings St. in Vancouver, Canada. So yes, Gourmet Chef Josh Wolfe guarantees the freshest seafood - fast!

What got me salivating: two of my favorites in one dish - and their union? Unexpected: The Poutine (fries and gravy), specifically the Local Seafood Chowder Poutine. <3 Yumm fries topped with clams, mussels, salmon, cod, double smoked bacon. FRIES and CLAM CHOWDER SOUP are my ultimate feel-good food. You can kill me right after I eat this. That’s how much I want to try this! :-)

Before I saw this on the tube, I was already out-of-this-world excited because I (may) need to visit a super special man in Canada this year. I pray things will just fall into place. Yes, Justin Bieber .. I’m talking about you. ;)

Kidding aside, YOU better search this place and YOU will take me there. YES? YES! :-)

The best Blackberry application ever … haha at least for me! :-)

In four months, I learned to adapt techniques that make me inconspicuous in the radar of hot-blooded men. While it is admittedly flattering that Filipinas are ‘esteemed species’ (haha, that’s the most politically correct term I could think of), after awhile you just want to settle in and be normal. My tendency to be a homebody is ever more strengthened because I’d rather stay at home than be bothered by strangers. I am not kidding … there’s no day here in ATL that’s boring to me. A short 10 minute walk from Starbucks to my home can turn out to be the most unbelievable 10 minutes, leaving me with this thought, “Where are the cameras? Did I just get punked?”

I’ve tried sporting the fugliest get up and I’ve even tried going out even if I didn’t take a bath (gross, I know!). I’ve tried hiding behind big shades and tomboy caps. If all else fails and I am forced to give my number, I just raise the white flag right away and give my number. It’s the easiest way for them to get off my case (and off my face!) There is no saying no to calloused men.

So what do I do with unwanted SMS and calls I receive? Enter: Call Blocker. All I need to do is enter their number in my “Black List” and when they call me, one ring is all it takes from their end and it cancels the call right away. I won’t even hear my BB ring! Though there is a log I can check on the number of calls blocked — AND YES, SOME GUYS JUST DON’T GET IT. When they send me SMS, I can record a custom message as an auto-reply but I didn’t bother. I just configured the app to just block even SMS.

There is just too much distraction around. You just gotta block ‘em all away! Five stars for Call Blocker app! Woohoo!

This was our last picture together before I left for Atlanta. Three months ago, my baby sister is the reigning Account Manager of the Year for the Watsons account (besting her counterparts in P&G/J&J/etc). Today, allow me to be a stage-sister (again) and to congratulate Unilever’s new BEAUTY Ambassador a.k.a. Beauty Execution Manager!!! You deserve this, Nishy. No one will own this role better than you would. <3 Beyonsay is sooo proud of you!!! :-)
On a side note, I was thinking: Is there any chance to make my role name half-as-glamorous (sounding) as my sister’s? :)) DELIVERY MANAGER sounds so nerdy beside BEAUTY AMBASSADOR, you know?! I took a shot at it and pitched some revised role names to my ADM (no other than MR!), but all my entries were denied! Thank you Nivi for helping me with some role names. :)) #rejected
Back to main topic: Karla, can you please explain to me what your role entails? :)) Hahahahaha other than mag-maganda?! :P I LOVE YOU TO BITS!! :-)

Soon, Starbucks will be too cliche for me. I kid you not.

Nowadays, I yearn for the plethora of experience and dynamics that a simple cup of coffee could bring. Enter: Cafe Nineteen, the “cafe with the fresh urban shell for the body and a modern social network for the heart and soul”. #StarbucksPANIS

Not only does it offer ILLY coffee for coffee lovers like me, it boasts a complete selection of liquor, hearty cuisine and wide dessert selection, all served from morning till night.

I ADORE THIS PLACE because the servers are (not only hot — yes I’m turning lesbo - haha!) just the sweetest and friendliest. BKS is my favorite server; that’s pronounced as “Bex” and she is a doll. I’M IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE because where else can you see a coffee shop with RnB music in the background? Doesn’t it make you wanna get lost in your own bliss? :-)

MS got his usual French press; he ordered 2. #caffeineaddict

I got a heavenly espresso creme brulee AND mocha ice blended. #sugarjunkie

So MS may boast SIP the Experience, but I have Cafe Nineteen in my zip code. It’s a 3 minute drive (10 minute walk — I’m in heels!) from my place. :-)

I get what I want NOT (only) because:

 - I know what I want.

 - I work my ass for what I want.

 - I know people propellers.

 - I’m a lucky one.

The kicker has always been because I choose to be fearless.
